Garlic Herb Chicken Breast That Will Knock Your Socks Off
RVing can be one of the greatest ways to take a road trip, especially when you add this garlic herb chicken breast to your cook book.
One disadvantage of traveling in an RV is that the quarters tend to be cramped, which makes cooking a meal something of a challenge. Eating out is a solution, but that means you’re wasting the tiny kitchen that your RV comes equipped with, not to mention spending money you may not have.
One great example of a healthy stove top recipe that can be cooked inside the close confines of an RV is garlic herb chicken breast served over cooked noodles. The following serves four people.
Ingredients
Four boneless chicken breasts
Four tablespoons of olive oil
Eight roasted garlic cloves
One tablespoon of fresh chopped basil
One tablespoon of fresh chopped oregano
One cup of white wine
Salt and pepper
One pound of pasta, spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine
Procedure
Boil the pasta until tender, then set aside.
Pour the olive oil in a pan with the roasted garlic, and then heat to a slight sizzle
Dust the chicken breasts on each side with salt and pepper, and then put them in the pan with the basil and oregano. Cook the chicken on each side for about five minutes.
Put the pasta on four plates, and then place a chicken breast on top of each.
Deglaze the pan with the wine, reduce for three minutes, and then spoon out the contents onto each piece of chicken and the pasta.
Eat and enjoy.
